* Welcome to Prickly Tales *

I am a small self funded Hedgehog rescue in West Oxfordshire.

I have sole responsibilty for the day to day care of the Hedgehogs that are brought into me by the general public. At the moment I have a couple of volunteers but they only aid with fundraising ideas. I really need help with the routine daily chores of cleaning and basic care.

Every penny that is donated is used towards the care of the Hedgehogs.

All the patients here are wild animals and some are very sick, so access to them is limited to prevent further stress. This means that I am not open to the public.

Visitors are welcome, but by appointment only.

Prickly Tales follow the husbandry best practice guidelines as set out by Vale Wildlife Hospital This includes following their tried and tested worming regimes.

Oxfordshire Paranormal and Beyond have organised a Ghost Hunt all in aid of Prickly Tales. Numbers are limited on this occasion but if it is a success then we hope to repeat the evening.

The Prickly Tales website soft launch is today...Yay!

We will be constantly updating and improving it as we go but would welcome any comments and feedback.

We will be having a raffle in the New Year so watch this space for further details.

We are one of the chosen charities to be partnered by Pets at Home (Abingdon Store)

There is a collection point within the store so if you are buying your pet supplies there you can support us by buying tins of cat food or kitten biscuits for the Hedgehogs in our care.
